The Severn Treescapes team are hosting a variety of free workshops, information events and site demonstration visits From Wye to Wyre, throughout the treescapes project area.

Agroforestry and woodland creation events

The Severn Treescapes project has teamed up with various different experts deliver exciting talks and demonstrations about agroforestry. Learn about the different grant types and opportunities available for trees, woodland and agroforestry.

Orchards through the seasons

The Severn Treescapes project has teamed up with the Wye Valley National Landscape to run a series of workshops to increase confidence among landowners to plant and look after traditional orchards and fruit trees.

Our first orchard workshop with Martin Hayes  was held at Huntly Village Hall on 18th January 2024, and the participants were able to practice planting on private land in Birdwood. This workshop is part of our Severn Treescapes: Orchards Through the Seasons project funded by Farming in Protected Landscapes grant, with thanks to Wye Valley National Landscape.
