Christmas closures at Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust 2024

A wintry scene at Crickley Hill (c) Daniel Winter

Like many other organisations at this time of the year, Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust will be largely closed for the Christmas period.

Our reserves remain open throughout the Christmas period but our offices are closed. From now until the start of 2025 select staff can be contacted in an emergency on the details below.

For a full breakdown of what is open and when – including our cafes – during this time please see below.

We welcome you to spend time surrounded by wildlife during this time and no matter how you spend your Christmas or Hannukah, we wish you all the best for this time of the year.

Cafes

With the exception of Christmas Day, our cafes at Crickley Hill and Robinswood Hill will remain open throughout the Christmas period. The cafes will be closed only on Wednesday December 25. Information about their opening hours is available here.

Offices

The offices of Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust are closed from the end of the working day on Christmas Eve (Tuesday 24 December) and will re-open on Thursday 2 December.

Reserves and land management teams

As has already been stated, all our reserves remain open during this time. Our land management teams are working on an on-call basis and will respond to any issues that may arise. All our livestock on reserves are checked on a regular basis.
