Sitting adjacent to The Park and Poor’s Allotment nature reserves in the Tidenham area of the Forest of Dean, Miss Grace’s Lane Meadows is a Local Wildlife Site that has multiple records of nationally threatened species.
The two-hectare parcel of land was offered as a gift to GWT by the current landowners, and long-term GWT donors.
This area of wildflower-rich grassland forms a core part of the Nature Recovery Network (NRN) and is home to plants such as soft-leaved sedge and common wintergreen, as well as a pond and wooded quarry area with dormice.
