Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG)
The Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group South West (FWAG SW) are a charity who represent farmers and communities protecting their environment. Within the Wild Towns project, FWAG SW are leading the Community Delivery in Fairford, Cirencester and Tetbury, aiming to improve the connection local people have with their local natural environment.
FWAG SW will be running a range of environmental projects within these three towns, including; wildflower meadow creation, bluebell trials, hedge/tree planting and wetland creation. Severn Rivers Trust
Their primary focus is to improve fish passage on the Cinderford Brook by modifying instream barriers to help migratory fish species get to their spawning grounds. As part of our commitment to improving fish passage, Severn Rivers Trust are tasked with enhancing the ecological function of the watercourse by undertaking habitat works to encourage greater biodiversity.
Severn Trent Water
Severn Trent Water have environmental obligations within Cinderford Brook and are looking to deliver a number of improvements consisting of wetland creation and river restoration for the local community in Cinderford.
Our aim is to ensure we implement environmental solutions which are not only beneficial in terms of river flow improvements but also in terms of ecological benefits to align with the aims of the project.
