Frances has consistently delivered outstanding work, connecting people with nature and wildlife in meaningful ways. We couldn’t be prouder of her well-deserved success!
This year’s winners were presented with their awards at the Make a Difference Awards ceremony which was hosted by BBC Points West’s Steve Knibbs on Saturday. It's the third year the awards have been held to recognise heroes in Gloucestershire.
As Nextdoor Nature Officer, Frances brings life and community to green spaces across Gloucestershire, encouraging communities, including minority communities and people with disabilities, to get involved with transformational micro-projects to help nature thrive and make the places where they live, work and visit greener - so that everyone can benefit.
Nextdoor Nature is a two-year project that is reaching out to anyone that would like to feel more connected to nature, and helping to create nature-filled spaces around where they live and work!
